Topic Title: HSBC Refuses to Update Credit Report

LP in California reports: "HSBC NV sold my account to a collection agency and are reporting it sold to collections on all three of my credit reports. When I paid the account if full, they refuse to update my credit reports with that information because they no longer 'own' the account."
