TW in Illinois warns everybody: "Please be careful. I recently opened an account with Value City, which I found was an HRS account. I set up an on-line account to pay my bill and when I recieved my statement I was notified that I had a $25.00 late fee and a $29.00 insufficient funds charge. I called the company and after a very long and frustating process in reaching an account representative I was told to wait and see what my bank statement reflected and then to call back. Today I called back it took me almost 30 minutes to reach a human. She said that I had the wrong bank account number and that is why the check was returned.

I don't believe I entered an incorrect number so I asked to speak to a supervisior. He told me to go to www.HRSAccounts.com and check or change the account number and at that time my account would be credited. It is now apparent that customers are locked out of HSBC online payment website so no changes can be made. Needless to say I am very frustrated by this bogus charge of $54.00 and the waste of my time.I had over $2,000 in the bank when this check was written."
