CH in Colorado horrifies us with this report: "I accepted I Loan from Beneficial HSBC (A Guaranteed loan, live check for $7,000) on the last day of the offer (ID# 415 7617312298) June 1st. I Exercised the loan by depositing the check at an ATM. I waited for the funds to clear my bank and started to pay off my debt. Two weeks after my deposit Beneficial returned the check as stale dated. My bank now states I owe them 2700.00, My mortgage is now in default and my bank has frozen my account (including my car payment)

"I called the number included in the offer 8005302673 and was treated rudely and informed by the first rep she could find no information on my offer and that I should call back and see if any one else could help me. I did so and again explained my situation and was told by this rep she has my records and my offer was for $9,000.00 (news to me, but happy they had record of me) I was then placed on hold & spoke to a manager who informed me that he would get this fixed as I was guaranteed a loan & all i had to do was give him my personal information. He guaranteed that I would not need to perform a credit app and then transfered me to a local office.

"The local rep George Hager then informed me I had no other choice but to submit an application, and since I was under the impression I was guaranteed this loan I allowed him to run a credit app which I failed (you must understand now since this loan fiasco I am negative in my bank and behind on my mortgage), at this time he stated he would contact national and attempt to resolve, after waiting 24 hours I called back and was forwarded to Voice mail. He did return my call and asked I fax in the ATM receipt proving I deposited the check on 06/01/06 which I did.

"He did not return my call. After waiting another 24 hrs I called again was forwarded to Voice Mail again after they asked who I was (screening my call). I left a message and Never got a call back. I am now in a state of financial ruin. My bank is racking up NSF charges & no one at Beneficial HSBC seems to really care. I was a little behind before nut now I face foreclosure, repossession, fraud and possibly jail ?

"I have attempted to resolve this issue with patience and understanding but have gotten the run around and conflicting stories, PLEASE HELP. I know not how to contact the correct department at Beneficial HSBC so I am left to sending this email to all HSBC Beneficial inboxes I can. Please help me... I will continue this Email, Blog, Web Campaign, All Message Boards, All Chats, All BBB Websites, until someone at HSBC Beneficial has the dignity to step up to attempt to resolve this situation. Thank you for your time, and if possible please feel free to forward this to any individual who might be able to help me."
