Topic Title: Another Best Buy Card Payment Scam

Post
Wed Jun 14, 2006 4:02 pm

TJ in Ohio reports: "HSBC has been processing my payments that were received on time as late, and attaching late fees to my bills. They have called me at 7:37 am. They have even cashed a $100.00 payment without crediting my account. We know this because my bank has issued me copies of money orders cashed by HSBC and this particular $100.00 payment was never credited to my account, yet it was cashed. My total bill at Best Buy totaled out to approximately $2100. To date about $1500 has been paid to HSBC, yet their invoice indicates I still owe $1426. My latest payment was sent on June 7th, 2006. I called them June 13th, 2006 and they said they had not yet received my payment, though my payment is due the 13th of every month they conveniently do not receive my payments until the 14th of every month. I am getting upset with this situation and will be calling the Ohio Attorney Generals office to voice another complaint."
