Topic Title: No Lien Release After Accident

MS in Texas says "I had an auto loan with HSBC. My insured auto was totaled, and the insurance company paid off the loan with HSBC. I have been requesting a lien release, (which was requested by another lender in order for me to purchase another vehicle) and after 3 months have not recieved one. I have spoken with over 18 different people with HSBC, and they all give me different information. I have faxed 6 letters to six different fax numbers, and have even retained an attorney to request one on my behalf, all to no avail. I am beyond frustrated, and will warn anyone I know not to deal with HSBC,"
