Topic Title: 75 Days and No Credit Report Update

MR in California tells us "I sent this collector company a $240 money order on 03/01/2006 to pay for a debt I had with a Costo credit card. Before sending the money I talked to a representative of the company on the phone and I was told that they would contact the main credit reporting agencies (Transunion, Experian. and Equifax), to let them know that I had paid. Today, 05/15/06 nothing has changed in my credit report and the debt still appears to be unpaid. They took the money and they did nothing. I feel cheated."
